On Saturday we saw the rest of the Rhode Island lighthouses in Narragansett Bay. It couldn't have been a nicer day. We did experience some engine trouble so we had to bypass the Bristol Ferry lighthouse but otherwise all was well. Here are some of the things we saw and I may be mislabeling some of these.
Comminicut Point, Warwick (not sure of the correct spelling) 1883 |
Warwick Neck 1899 |
Rocky Point (maybe) |
Prudence Island 1856 |
Hog Island 1899 |
Bullock's Point 1872, foundation all that's left |
Savin Point, all gone too |
Pompom Rocks 1871 |
